Why is this important for you?
Connecting Skello to your scheduling software allows you to synchronise Skello schedules with your calendar so that each employee’s working hours are automatically displayed in their calendars across all their devices as soon as the schedule is published.
Skello connects to Google Calendar, iCal (Apple) and Outlook.
For a given week, whenever the schedule is published, Skello sends the following:
- Shift times
- Positions
- Relevant establishment
How do you set it up?
When the user receives their schedule on Skello via email, they can synchronise it with their smartphone by clicking on the logos corresponding to their device.
Alternatively, they can go to their Skello dashboard and select the “Synchronise calendar” tab.
For each calendar, you will have access to a setup tutorial as well as the URL to use for synchronisation.
Please note: Information is only sent if the schedule has been published. After the first publication: if I change my schedule, I must republish it so that the changes also appear in my calendar.
After the first publication: if I change my schedule, I must republish it so that the changes also appear in Google Calendar.
NB: Google only refreshes its data once a day, which may cause a delay between changes made in Skello and their display in Google Calendar. This behaviour is specific to Google.
