Paid multiposting

Increase the reach of your job posting with premium job boards. Discover paid multiposting, how it differs from organic multiposting, and JOIN's promotion tools. Available on desktop only.

Paid multiposting lets you increase the visibility of your job postings through premium products. This helps you reach more targeted, qualified candidates. All candidates, whatever their source, are centralised in JOIN.

Premium job boards

Premium job boards are additional job boards available on JOIN. To distribute your job posting on premium job boards, you need to purchase a product, a slot, or a product pack that includes premium job boards suited to your posting. With JOIN, you get direct, one-click access to more than 250 job boards via Store > Discover.

Benefits of promoting jobs

  • Boosted visibility: priority placement and recurring refreshes, your job posting stays at the top of search results.

  • Targeted reach: targeting by sector, location or function to reach qualified active and passive candidates.

  • Higher-quality candidates: premium platforms often attract qualified profiles who are genuinely engaged in a job search.

Organic jobs vs paid jobs

Free ads initially appear at the top of the results when published, then gradually move down. Premium ads are regularly refreshed by job boards and stay prominently displayed at the top of search results.

Ways to promote a job

1. Premium job boards (from the Job)

Go to the Jobs > Active tab, select your Job, then open the Premium job boards sub-tab. You'll see two options:

  • Smart Spend: set a fixed budget. JOIN experts automatically distribute it across the best-performing boards for your role.

  • Premium products: browse the different product types (Packs, Individual job boards, Slots) and select them manually.

2. Promote button

In the Jobs > Active tab, click the Promote button on each job to go directly to the promotion options.

3. Store

Go to the Store tab to explore all paid promotion options. The Store is divided into four sub-tabs:

  • Discover: browse all premium products. Use the search bar or filters by sector, job board type or function.

  • Inventory: view all your previously purchased products. Unused products in your inventory must be used within one year of the purchase date.

  • Job boards: browse the full catalogue of more than 250 job boards supported by JOIN.

  • Bookings: view all your current and past promotions, track performance (views, clicks, candidates), buy again in one click.

Product types for paid job postings

  • Individual premium products: fixed-price or performance-based postings. May include cashback (Store credits) or quantity discounts.

  • Packs: several platforms in a single purchase (e.g. LinkedIn & XING Bundle, Social-Media Bundle, Top Seller Package). Often include discounts and cashback.

  • Slots: annual or flexible subscriptions that let you publish several jobs over time on the same job board. Offer preferential rates, job swaps and scheduled publishing.

Billing models

  • Fixed price: one-off payment for a set duration (e.g. 30 days on Stepstone)

  • CPC: cost per click (charged for each click your ad receives)

  • CPA: cost per application (charged when a candidate applies)

  • P4P: pay for performance (may include CPA or CPC depending on the job board)

Managing products after purchase

  • Manage your products from the Inventory tab. Use the Assign to a job button for unassigned products.

  • Track active and expired bookings from the Bookings tab.
