very employee, whatever the length of his or her contract, working hours or length of service, is entitled to paid time off with his or her employer. Here's how it works, and how to manage it on Skello.
How many paid time-off days does an employee earn?
Whether an employee works full-time or part-time, he or she earns :
2.5 days vacation per month if you work in working days. This represents 30 working days (5 weeks) for a full working year.
2.08 days vacation per month if you work in working days. This represents 25 working days (5 weeks) for a full working year.
The full working year is determined on the basis of a reference period running from June 1 of the previous year to May 31 of the current year. However, different dates may be set by company or establishment agreement or, failing that, by branch agreement.
How do I set up paid time off on Skello?
You can configure paid time off in Skello by following these steps:
Go to the Settings tab.
Select Rules, then Trackers.
Check that your paid time off tracker is activated so that you can proceed to the next step.
Configure the paid time off rules to suit your needs.
How do I enter vacation days in my schedule?
If you work in working days :
One week of paid time off corresponds to 6 days of paid time off + 1 day of weekly rest.
If you work in working days:
One week of paid time off corresponds to 5 days of paid time off + 2 days of weekly rest.
