Modifying an employee's contract in Skello allows you to keep contractual information up to date and adapt to changes in working conditions. This ensures that all information is correct and complies with legal requirements.
How do I modify an employee's contract in Skello?
Steps to follow :
Go to the Employees tab:
Log in to your Skello account.
Click on Employees in the navigation bar.
Select the relevant employee:
Find the employee whose contract you wish to modify.
Click on their name to access their profile.
Go to the Contracts section:
In the employee's profile, go to the Contract & salary data section.
Click on the contract you wish to modify.
Modify the contract information:
Click on Modify to enter edit mode.
Make any necessary changes: contract type, dates, duration, working hours, etc.
Check changes carefully to avoid any errors.
Save changes:
Once you've made your changes, click Save to validate them.
Modifying a current contract has an impact on the history of that contract: the new information will replace the previous information.
How do I add a rider to the hourly volume?
When an employee's working hours change, you can add a rider:
Go to the Endorsements section:
Click on the pencil icon in the top right-hand corner of the current contract.
In the Salary data section, click on + Add a rider.
Fill in the rider information:
Indicate whether the rider is temporary or permanent.
Specify start and end dates.
Enter the new hourly volume.
Note: The rider only concerns the hourly volume. To change the type of contract (e.g. from fixed-term to permanent), create a new contract.
Save the amendment:
The hourly volume on the schedule will be modified for the specified period.
Note: The start date of an hourly volume rider always begins on a Monday, as the weekly hourly volume is calculated from Monday to Sunday.
How to add a position, status or salary rider (Premium Pack only)
With a Premium subscription, you can also modify the employee's position, status and/or salary:
Create a amendment:
Click on Create a contract and select Add a amendment to the current contract.
Enter the dates of the rider:
For a permanent contract, only the start date is required. For a fixed-term contract, also specify the end date.
Tip: If the amendment starts during the week, the new hours will be calculated from the following Monday.
Modify contract data :
Keep the information unchanged and modify only the data specific to the rider.
Save the amendment, which will terminate the initial contract on the start date of the amendment.
Please note: For a temporary amendment to the hourly volume, the amendment must be created in the current contract.
