How to manage the solidarity day on Skello?
Updated over 2 months ago

Your employees will soon be doing their solidarity day, and you don't know how to indicate it on Skello? Follow these steps to help you manage your schedule and process your payroll.

What is the solidarity day?

The solidarity day is primarily an accounting, not a schedule, element. If employees work on this day, which is a public holiday, they are paid at their usual hourly rate, without the holiday supplement. The amount of this supplement is paid by the employer to the French government as part of the Contribution Solidarité Autonome (CSA).

How do I schedule the Solidarity Day on Skello?

On your schedule, indicate what actually takes place in the company:

  • If the employee is working, simply add a shift.

  • If the employee is taking RTT or paid time off, add the corresponding absence.

How do you identify the hours worked on the solidarity day in your report?

To extract the information from your Skello report:

  1. Export your report in Excel format from the Report tab of your Skello interface.

  2. Open the file in your spreadsheet program.

  3. Access the “Details” tab, which contains all your employees' shifts and absences over the period.

  4. Filter your spreadsheet by selecting the column entitled “Date” and choose the date of the solidarity day. This will display absences and working hours for that day.

By following these steps, you can easily manage your employees' solidarity day on Skello, and ensure that all the necessary information is correctly recorded and available for accounting processing.
