With Skello, save time and customize your schedules with a range of powerful tools. Whether filtering information, copying shifts, or adjusting the display, these options allow you to effectively organize your teams and adapt your schedules to your needs.
Schedule tools to save time
1. Filter the employees displayed on the schedule
Filtering allows you to display only the information you need.
Click on the filter icon at the top of the schedule.
Select the positions, teams, employees, or absences to display.
Tip: Filter by teams to focus only on the schedules of specific groups.
2. Undo/redo actions while planning
You can undo or redo your last actions.
Use the undo/redo arrows in the toolbar at the top of the schedule.
These options are limited to the last actions performed on the current page.
Tools to manage shifts efficiently
1. Add a shift for multiple employees across several days
Select multiple empty cells by holding CMD (Mac) or CTRL (Windows) while clicking on the desired cells.
Right-click on one of the selected cells to open the action menu, then click on Add a shift.
A pop-up window will open. Fill in the details of the shift.
Click Create to confirm and save the shift.
Note: The shift will automatically be added to all the selected cells.
2. Copy multiple shifts
Select multiple shifts:
Hold CMD (Mac) or CTRL (Windows) while clicking on the shifts you want to copy.
Copy the selected shifts:
Right-click on one of the selected shifts and click Copy in the action menu.
Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcuts: CMD + C (Mac) or CTRL + C (Windows).
Paste the copied shifts where needed:
Right-click on a cell (empty or already containing a shift) and select Paste in the action menu.
Alternatively, use the keyboard shortcuts: CMD + V (Mac) or CTRL + V (Windows).
3. Delete multiple shifts
Select multiple shifts by holding down CMD (Mac) or CTRL (Windows).
Right-click on one of the selected shifts and click Delete.
4. Delete all shifts for the week
Click on the three dots at the top-left of the schedule.
Select Clear all shifts for the week.
Choose the employees whose shifts should be deleted.
Note: By default, all employees with shifts are selected.
5. Use popular shifts
Popular shifts let you quickly insert the most frequently used schedules.
Click on the Popular Shifts icon (flame-shaped).
Select a shift from the suggestions and drag it onto the schedule.
Note: Popular shifts are automatically determined based on the most frequently used shifts on the schedule over the past two weeks.
How to customize the schedule display?
1. Sort the display of employees
You can rearrange the order of employees to make management easier:
Click on the three dots at the top-right of the schedule.
Select Sort employees.
Choose alphabetical order or custom order.
Note: The display order is applied for all managers of the establishment.
2. Customize display options
Adapt the schedule display to your specific needs:
Click on the three dots at the top-right of the schedule.
Select Display options.
Configure:
The days to display.
The cell size.
Whether to display or not employee birthdays.
Tip: Hide the times and duration of shifts by clicking on the eye directly in the schedule shifts.
3. Manage unassigned shifts
Unassigned shifts are available shifts that have not yet been allocated to an employee. They appear in a dedicated row on the schedule.

What keyboard shortcuts are available?
Undo an action:
Mac: Cmd ⌘ + Z
Windows: Ctrl + Z
Redo an action:
Mac: Cmd ⌘ + Shift + Z
Windows: Ctrl + Shift + Z
Navigate between periods:
Mac: Cmd ⌘ + ⬅️ / Cmd ⌘ + ➡️
Windows: Ctrl + ⬅️ / Ctrl + ➡️
Open the print window:
Mac: Cmd ⌘ + P
Windows: Ctrl + P
Add a shift:
Press Enter ⏎
