Why is this important?
Skello alerts help you manage schedules in compliance with the rules laid down in your establishment's collective agreement. They warn the scheduler when a rule is not respected.
How do I configure schedule alerts?
To configure alerts
Go to Establishment parameters.
Click on the cogwheel at the top right of the screen.
Select the Alerts tab.
Define alert rules
Alerts are linked to your Collective Agreement rules, defined in the establishment's basic rules.
To activate an alert, tick the button to the left of the alert title.
To block an alert, tick the box to the right of the line.
Blocking alerts prevent the scheduling of shifts that do not comply with the rules defined. Alerts can be defined for:
Number of consecutive days
Daily rest
Weekly rest
Contractual working time
Total absences in excess of hourly volume
Maximum working time per week
Hourly volume per day
Time between start of first shift and end of last shift
Shifts that do not comply with a blocking alert are moved to the unassigned line.
To customize alerts according to your establishment's legal framework, contact customer support or your account manager.
How do I use schedule alerts?
Types of alerts
Information alerts:
These appear as an icon with an exclamation mark at the bottom right of the shift.
Click on the icon to see the details of the alert.
Click on “I understand” to ignore the alert and make the icon disappear.
Several alerts can be triggered on the same shift. Only one icon will be visible, but details are accessible by clicking on it.
Blocking alerts:
If a shift violates a blocking alert, an error message is displayed and the shift is deleted.
The name of the blocking alert is indicated in the message to explain the problem.
Note:
The “Number of consecutive days” blocking alert does not take absences into account (e.g.: absence from CFA school).
Alerts apply to all employees in the establishment and cannot be set for certain employees only.
Scheduling via the mobile application does not take alerts into account.
