How to track a team rotation in Skello?
Updated over 3 months ago

Why is it important?

Using team rotation enables employees' working hours to be adapted to the specific needs of the establishment. This feature is particularly useful in the healthcare, retail and construction sectors, where collective agreements provide for the organization of working hours in cycles.

It is also available with the Collective Agreement: Droit du travail français.

How do I track team rotation on the schedule?

The weekly volume and corresponding type of week are shown on the left-hand side of the schedule, next to the employee's name, starting from the date selected to start the team rotation.

  • Total scheduled hours and additional hours are calculated on the basis of this specific hourly volume.

How do I track team rotation in the employee contract?

The hourly volumes validated during team rotation configuration are recorded in the current employment contracts of the employees concerned by the rotation.

Team rotation hourly volumes can be modified if need be from the employee's contract, by clicking on the pencil icon in the top right-hand corner of the contract. If the volume is modified, it will be applied from the start date of the team rotation.

Limits to be aware of :

  • Changes to hourly volumes from employee contracts are applied retroactively, from the team rotation start date.

  • If the employee changes contract, the team rotation remains attached to the first contract. You therefore need to archive the employee file where the first contract was recorded, add a new employee by entering the new contract, and set up a team rotation for a new team with the new employee.

How do I track team rotation in the report?

In the Report tab, the type of week and the number of hours scheduled for each week are displayed, providing a clearer picture of the hours worked by employees in team rotation.

  • Additional hours are calculated from the hourly volume defined in the team rotation week type.

Example:

If an employee has worked 32 hours in week D, when he should have worked 30 hours in this type of week, he has worked two additional hours.
