Why is it important for you?
Managing sick leave on Skello allows you to keep your schedule up to date and track your employees' absences correctly. Here's how to set up sick leave absences on your employee's schedule.
Long-term sick leave
Create an absence shift:
Go to the first week of the sick leave.
Create a sick leave absence shift from Monday to Sunday.
Avoid accumulation of additional hours:
You'll see additional hours appear in your employee's his/her hours counter. To avoid this, set two absences shifts to 0h.
Duplicate on other weeks:
Go to the next week, click on the three small dots at the top right of the schedule.
Select Create from template.
Choose the previous week, select the employee concerned and the weeks to be duplicated.
Sick leave for a few days
Add an absence shift:
Go to the relevant week.
Add a sick leave shift for the days concerned.
Set according to days:
If the sick leave falls on a weekly rest day, set the absence to 0h.
If the sick leave falls on a working day, set the sick leave to “all day”.
