Exporting applications

In this article, you'll learn how to export candidate lists and documents from the Applications tab or directly from specific Job views. Available on desktop only.

You can export candidate information and their documents directly from JOIN whenever needed. This can be useful for reporting, sharing or archiving.


Export formats

You can export candidate data in three formats:

  • CSV – candidate list only

  • XLSX – candidate list only

  • ZIP – candidate list, candidate CVs and attachments


Exporting applications

You can export applications for all your Jobs from the Applications tab:

  1. Go to the Applications tab. Open the relevant sub-tab: Active, Hired or Rejected

  2. Select candidates using the checkboxes, or leave them unselected to export everyone in the chosen sub-tab. You can also use filters such as Job, Job status or Stage to narrow your results

  3. Click the Export button at the top right

  4. Choose the desired format (CSV, XLSX or ZIP), then confirm the export

  5. Once the file is generated, you'll receive it at the email address associated with your JOIN account.


Exporting applications for a specific Job

You can export applications linked to a specific Job in two ways:

Option 1: from the Applications tab

Filter by Job in the Applications tab, then follow the steps mentioned above.

Option 2: from the Job's detail view

  1. Go to Jobs > the Active tab

  2. Click the relevant Job

  3. Open the Applications sub-tab

  4. Click the menu at the top right

  5. Hover over Export applications, then choose a format (CSV, XLSX or ZIP) and confirm the export

  6. Once the file is generated, you'll receive it at the email address associated with your JOIN account.

You can also select specific candidates here using the checkboxes and export them from the toolbar at the bottom.
