How to change my bank holiday tracker settings?

How to activate, set up, change the settings for, and use the holiday tracker

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Why is it important?

The bank holiday tracker enables you to define guaranteed public holidays for your employees, track working hours and absences, and automatically calculate the hours of recuperation due. This ensures efficient holiday management.

Note: The bank holiday tracker and its customization are only available for Premium package subscriptions. For Success subscriptions, it is managed from the schedule.

Update the establishment settings

  1. Access settings :

    • Go to Establishment settings > Rules > Counters.

    • Once the public holiday counter is activated, a window will open displaying the list of public holidays applicable to your geographical area (as defined by the address of your establishment).

    • From here, you can deactivate public holidays that do not apply to your establishment using the Active column, and add new ones using the “Add a custom public holiday” button.

    • In this management area, you can decide which days are guaranteed and choose the type of compensation (To be paid or To be taken as time off) for each day.

    • Finally, from December onwards, you can configure public holidays for the following year by selecting the year from the drop-down menu.

Changing settings at this level affects all employee trackers.

Modify settings by employee

  1. Access the employee file:

    • Go to Employee file > History / Counters > Bank holiday tracker.

If the employee works in several establishments, the tracker is set from the main establishment.

  1. Modify settings :

    • Click on the cross or tick to define whether the holiday is guaranteed or not.

    • Click on To recover or To pay to choose the type of compensation.

    • Hours worked/off are automatically calculated according to planned shifts. Modify these hours directly on the schedule.

Only the current year's tracker can be modified. The balance of hours to be recovered from the previous year is automatically carried over to the current year.
