Why is this important?
For employees on daily rate contracts, tracking and managing earned and used rest days is essential to good HR management.
To find out how to activate and configure the daily rate contract rest counter, see this article: Activate the daily rate contract rest counter.
How do I track daily rate contracts?
Once the daily rate contract counter has been activated, employees can track their earned and taken days off.
Employees tab > History/Counters > Daily rate contract (RTT) tracker
This tracker is only available to employees with a daily rate contract.
The number of days of daily rate contract rest acquired for the year is pre-calculated on Skello. The calculation corresponds to : 365 days - 218 days worked - days not worked (weekly rests + CP + holidays). For 2023, this gives 8 days of daily rate contract rest.
If the employee starts his/her contract during the year and/or month, the number of days acquired is calculated on a pro rata basis.
