Why is this important?
For employees on daily rate contracts, the management and monitoring of days worked is essential to ensure fair distribution and compliance with regulations. Understanding how Skello facilitates this management helps optimize schedules and accurately track employee activity.
How does Skello track days worked?
For employees on daily rate contracts, Skello specifically manages tracking based on the number of days worked over the year, not working time.
Where to find this information :
Schedule: Day rate on the left of the schedule, next to the employee's name, to quickly identify employees on daily rate contracts.
Total column on the right of the schedule, indicating the number of working days scheduled during the week.
Shift history: From the Employees > History/Counters > History tab, for detailed tracking.
Report: From the Report tab, the number of days worked is shown week by week.
Skello counts a day worked as soon as there is a shift on a given day, regardless of its duration or the number of shifts.
How do I access the days worked tracker?
When overtime compensation is activated, a days worked tracker is available in the employee file. This counter tracks the number of days worked from January to December, depending on the employee's contract, and shows the number of days remaining to be worked.
Exporting data
The shift history can be exported in PDF format, including details of planned shifts and the sum of days worked during the period. This document can be signed by the employee as an individual “timesheet”.
What is the impact of daily rate contract absences?
Planning absences
Scheduling absences on a daily rate contract employee's schedule enables precise monitoring of his or her activity.
Full-day absences: Plan an absence shift in day format, choosing the reason for absence.
Half-day absences: schedule an absence shift in half-day format for the duration of the absence.
If a work shift and an absence shift are scheduled on the same day, the absence cancels the attendance. For partial absences, the half-day format must be selected.
Absences resting daily rate contracts (RTT)
For employees on a daily rate contract, a daily rate contract (RTT) absence from work enables them to respect the number of days worked stipulated in the Collective Agreement. Skello offers a specific tracker for scheduling these absences.
